Info Post
Another highlight of my Anteprima Irpinia weekend was lunch on Saturday.  Our group ate at the winery I Capitani.  This winery, run by the Cefalo family for more than 100 years, welcomed us with open arms.  Our schedule was tight, but we had time to sit down to a buffet lunch.  I Capitani's wines are the classic Irpinia offerings; Fiano di Avellino, Greco di Tufo, and Aglianico (Taurasi).  One wine which was the topic of much discussion during lunch was Emè (Aglianico Taurasi, Merlot, and Sangiovese).

We squeezed in a quick tour of the winery, which basically is a mini-museum full of wine making tools from the past.

A quick caffè and a slice of amarone and ricotta pie, then we were on our way...
